How do I add a playlist?
Open Settings, choose Playlists, then Add playlist. You can add:
- Xtream — your provider's server address, username and password;
- M3U — an M3U link, or upload an M3U file from your phone;
- Stalker / MAC portal — the portal address and your device MAC.
Choosing phone login shows a QR code: scan it with your phone to open the sign-in page, and the TV then picks up your playlist.
Frequently asked questions
- How does phone login work?
- Choose phone login and scan the QR code with your phone to open the provider's sign-in page. The TV then picks up your playlist.
- What does "connection limit" mean?
- Your provider allows a set number of streams at once. If playback fails, another device may be using your connection.
- Why does a channel sometimes change format?
- If a stream fails, the player tries the other container (TS or HLS) automatically. The working choice is remembered for that channel.
- Why is the guide empty?
- Some providers do not offer a TV guide, or the guide has not synced yet. Use Refresh guide in Settings to try again.
- How do I back up or restore my playlists?
- In Settings open Backup to export or import a protected backup file. Keep the passphrase safe — without it the file cannot be read.
- How do I set a parental PIN?
- In Settings open Parental controls to set a PIN. It locks settings, profiles and adult categories until it is unlocked for the session.
- How do I clear the cache?
- Open your TV's app settings for Qanat and clear the cache. Your playlists and settings are kept.
How do I remove my data?
No server copy of your data exists — everything is on your TV. To remove it: remove the playlist in Settings → Playlists, use Clear history to wipe searches and resume positions, or uninstall the app to delete everything.
